In a first for EVEYBODY.WORLD and their production partner, this blanket features two completely different artworks on the two sides. A new technique was developed to push the envelope of what is possible, much as Shantell Martin has pushed the art world envelope by fusing bold identity politics and works of art that welcome viewers to ask themselves WHO ARE YOU and then affirms them with a resounding YOU ARE YOU.
EVERYBODY.WORLD, founded by fifth generation Los-Angeleno Iris Alonzo and Carolina Crespo, a first generation American, and daughter of Mexican immigrants who ran a factory in downtown Los Angeles since the 1970's.
Together they founded EVERYBODY.WORLD four years ago, dedicated to making thoughtful goods without exploiting people or the planet. The do so by only working with factories that have ethical practices, pay workers at every level livable wages and produce great products.
